When Disney decided to produce Mandarin dubs of their movies, the choice for making them landed on Taiwan.
Despite this, several classics were then dubbed in China instead along the years, like Bambi or The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Some of these movies did get unofficial dubs released on VHS, with a few voice artists dubbing every characters, and the song left in English.
This was the case for : "Dumbo", "Alice in Wonderland", "Peter Pan", "One Hundred and One Dalmatians"; but also for some movies that got official dubs afterwards: "Pinocchio", "Cinderella", "Sleeping Beauty".
